#17422, "Which is worse?"
Thu May-28-09 11:54 AM by Mikes Z-260

Watching a 4 lbr swim away with your spro frog because your brand new 30# spiderwire broke. Watching a 6 lbr swim away with your 6" huddleston because your brand new 30# spiderwire broke. Or watching a 8+ lbr swim away with a 7" senko because your 30# spiderwire broke. All of these happened to me today. Quite pissed. Also broke off several other times with small fish in the weeds. I have never had a problem with 30# spiderwire before. Any one else have this problem? I stopped fishing and went home and ripped it off my reel. I need a line for extremely heavy cover and big fish. Any suggestions? Preferably braid or fluorocarbon. Thanks.

Mike
