#9091, "RE: Peck Rd. or Santa Fe" In response to In response to 2
There's a spot where a fallen telephone pole is leaning up against another pole behind the golf course. In front of the fallen pole there will be two small islands and you can see some high spots outside the islands. That area produce fish. Actually the shore line from those islands down to the channel that divids the lake has produced a few fish for me. My favorite spot is on opposite side of the lake in the cove with the submerged trees. There's also a there's a submerged picnic table in that area. If enter through the golf course and continue down the trail when you reach the lake you'll find a small stretch of shorline that begins at at the bottom of the trail and ends at the channel. I wouldn't expect much from those spots though. If you really want to challenge your skills and you can handle a lot of frustration then have at it. If you would preffer to drive an extra 10 minutes for some better fishing go to Santa Fe or if you would preffer to drive an extra 15 minutes for some even better fishing give Pudd a try.
