#792, "Okuma Rod Warranty"

Last week I broke my Okuma XH rod on a hook set >8( Today I got a hold of the Warranty dept over at Okuma and they said to cut out the model number on the pole and ship that small portion along with a copy of the receipt and a 15 dollars (shipping) and they would get a new rod out to me in about 3 days after receiving the info/check/piece. Not even a question about how it happened or having me send the whole pole back. I have to give them an A+ in customer service. I'll post an update when I receive my pole.

Leroy, Let me know if you get your rod before I do. Three weeks ago they told me it was going to be about 30 days before I get my replacement rod. I haven't heard anything since then. I'm going to give them a call and see if the rods have come in yet.
