Hey all,
Just wanted to let you know that there was a trout plant on friday at lopez and Santa Margarita lake. Both happened at the launch ramps. I am going to go try and catch some dinner at one of the lakes in a few minutes. The plants mean that it is MS slammer time. Have any of you had any luck with a large, jointed rapala in Rainbow trout color. For those of us that dont have 30 bucks for a lure, i have one. Havent used it yet, any experiance with it. There will also be plants with 2 to 5 pound trout at both lakes on December 14th.

Go get em,
Joel

I use a large broken back BOMBER (similar to Rebel and Rapala but $3.00 less per lure)in rainbow trout patter up north here at a local lake. My largest trout is 9 # but no bass or stripers have hit it in 2 years of trying.
