Hello all,

Just looking for some general information about Lake Perris. I am taking the kids camping there this week and have never fished the lake or spent any time in the area. I just wanted to get some general information about the lake ... species of fish ... best techniques for catching them ... etc. I intend on bringing the standard plastics, however I was wondering if anyone has suggestions for crankbaits, spinnerbaits, swimbaits, tubebaits, sightfishing ... colors, sizes, line size, location, different areas of the lake, various types of available structure. Any info would be appreciated. I hope to get on some bass myself, but the kids would love to catch some trout or panfish, from the boat or also from shore so any and all info on all species is great. Hope you can help.
