I met up with the Local Rookie, Harold today over at Glen Helen Regional Park. I went around the lakes with Harold and showed him a few of the spots at the lakes, and showed him some techniques as well for fishing some of the jigs. About 11, whitewater came by and stocked the lakes with Steelhead, which was an added bonus for the day.

For the rest of the day it was a slow bite, with fish here and there, but no real solid bites. A guy that I fish with elsewhere, Larry, also fished by us, and had the same results, and he tossed every lure he had with him.

All in all it wasn't too bad a day. It was fun to fish with Harold, and he brought in 3 steelheads, and broke off many more. I brought in 7, and lost many more as well. Here are some pictures from today. First the stocking truck, then my 4 fish I kept, and then Harold with his stringer.
