What don't you like about the rods you've tried? Are any of them close to what you're looking for? I'm just curious to find out what you're looking for specifically.

I have a Calstar 800XL, Loomis BB964 and a Rainshadow SW967. I like all these rods for different applications. There's always a few things I would change on just about every rod I own. That's why it's nice to custom build them myself. The BB964 wasn't quite the way I wanted it and now that I broke it, I got a new blank that I can change some things on. Are the rods you have custom wrapped? If not, maybe you could consider doing that.
