I use to work there and I did really good during the winter on black & blue jig-n-craws. Shakin worms is good too but the structure there tends to take your tackle like the damn at perris. Corona pumped out a 12lb bass last year and I got some really nice fish during the fall too. Summer fishing always sucked for me. Berkley craws on the black & blue jigs did the trick on a consistent basis. The rocks on the opposite shoreline were always the best but the transition between the rocks and the wood produced the toads. Use a lighter jig too, 1/4 oz and you won't get snagged too much. You need the dark colors as the water there is stained usually. Go with 15lb test and the rocks and trees in that place are brutal. I had many days where I caught nothing but when it turns on it can be WIDE ! Good Luck.
