#1543, "question for shimano buffs"
|
Does anyone have a CU100B with the chronarch50 spool? Does it make a big difference? Also, does the chronarch50 cast control cap improve performace? or is it merely cosmetic?
Also, does anyone know if/when shimano will come up with the revamp version of the CU200B? It seems to me that shimano is making a lot of redesigns and would like to know if the curado will get an overhaul before I buy one.
I guess I can toss this one also here: given the choice between a TD Fuego and a ChronarchMG (last year's model) which would you take?
Btw, it sucks to lose a big fish due to a poor hookset! x(

Thanks for the reply. I do have a Daiwa Alpha and I love the low profile and everything else but at around 250 it is a bit expensive. With that said, the TDZ is WAY out of my league. :) Any particular reason why you don't like the fuego? Also, how low does the scorpion 1000 sit compared to the daiwa reels?
