Hey bro, did you use this rod for salmon, or for other stuff too? I'm thinnking about using a salmon rod for light baits for calicos and I might be interested in this one. Let me know what you think.

I used it for steelhead primarily, but have caught salmon with it with no problems.

Hey Jake, I would recommed a GUSA 8'6 for calicos. The lamiglass action is a bit slow for saltwater. Any of the 8-9' Loomis Hotshot or Bounceback rods are also great. Waiting for an e-mail from you about the curado. -Nate
