Coral Sea 3/4 Day trip

Beautiful weather for us today and overall a nice day of fishing up the coast for us today with 24 anglers on board.

We started our morning in the deeper water and for our fist hour or two had pretty consistent fishing on good grade reds. Unfortunately around 11 everything seemed to fall apart and we had a series of very slow drifts. We covered a number of spots and depths eventually finding a small area later in the day that we were able to pick away at some more reds along with a sampling of widows and other assorted rockfish until we put the boat on course for home.

In total our group ended the day with 157 Reds and 46 misc. rockfish.

Both boats are booked tomorrow and the next trip with availability on the coral Sea is a 3/4 Day trip Wednesday, the stardust has room on Monday & Wednesday on 1/2 Day trips, 3/4 day Tuesday. Please call Sea landing at 805 963-3564 for a reservation or visit our website to book online.

Stardust
3/4 day 7.15.17

Hello everyone, here's your stardust 3/4 day report. We stayed along the coast today with the high winds on the outer waters. We headed out deep first thing this morning and found nice rockfish willing to bite but the numbers were not super impressive off each spot.

Our weather was nice all day and we had very little currents to deal with. We fished around in some shallower stuff mid morning but realized most our good fishing was deeper. We got into one spot later in the day where we put on a good amount of nice reds and coppers and a couple lingcod. Most our other drifts consisted of 10 or so fish and then we would have to move.

We fished until we were out of time but our guys had a blast today and have very nice bags to take home tonight.

For our 35 anglers we got 160 reds with 76 assorted rockfish and 2 lingcod. The stardust is privately chartered tomorrow but please feel free to book spots now for upcoming trips on our website or call the Sealanding at 8059633564.
