Hope all is ready for this 2nd try at a sunrise tourney, to be held this coming early Saturday morning. This is our 7th event for the year. We had to do this again! Last year worked out so well. You get to fish in the dark for half the event and try to hook up with a monster, and the other half will be right as the morning bite starts. With this combination of hours we could see some big bags. I know last year there were a couple people that hooked into some giants but only one was brought to the scales. It's fun and challenging in the dark.
Check-in 2:00am-2:30am Weigh-in will be 6 hours after launch. Well will launch no later than 3:00am
We will be doing livewell checks at this event before launching.
I will be out there Friday late evening at the latest. If you wish to check-in Fri nite that's fine with me.
We still have not teaches our goal for canned food. Please bring one canned food or non perishable item to this event. A bag of plastics to start collecting raffle items for next year would be appreciated as well. These are things we discussed ay the year end meeting last year and we are still collecting. We asked that everyone brought a can and a bag of plastics or bait to every event. We slacked off there on continuing to ask but I'm still asking. Some people have already brought baits and canned food for the year, others I'm not sure have brought either or, so please do so.
I will also be bringing some garbage bags to clean the area up after the event. I will also bring the trash home with me. For those of you that had mentioned that we should do this, we will Saturday. Whomever wants to help out will be appreciated.
Post here if u plan to attend. See you all out there.

I will be there! I also apologize about the canned food; I actually brought some with me to Beacon Harbor but forgot about it. I will lend a hand with the clean up effort too as one of the things I worried about was what to do with all the trash. The dumps around where I live are pretty rigid about taking garbage from other areas.
Per my previous posts I hope to get there around 2-3 Friday afternoon. I *hope* to get some sleep in the back of my truck before we start as I really don't do well without any sleep at all.

Steve...A: you act like you've never met me...and B: I was just making a little fun of a fellow BnT'er who I look up to as a fisherman...I figured if I talked like him I might be lucky enough to fish like him...
