I fished that Spring Lake tourney and worked my ass off for 1 little 13 incher. I never thought I'd see the day when a 3.7 pound fish would win "big fish" at Spring.
Second was a 3.3, 3rd was 2.7.

I visited my grandfather for his birthday this weekend. On the way my mother told me she printed a photo of a big bass. It was your 11+ from White Slough. I told her I only took the picture. Gramps was pretty impressed anyway. His best was 8.5 and he fished the San Diego lakes for 40 years.
