I have been wondering about this pontoon. Anybody has any experience with this brand or model?

I have that exact boat and it is awesome!! I would warn you though, this thing is pretty BIG as far as kickboats go. I bought mine directly from Dave Scadden at the San Mateo sportsmen expo so it was nice to have him there to answer ALL of my questions. Plus, he thru in a pump, a rope, an anchor and extended foot bars. He gave me a demo disc that was pretty cool too. It has footage of him and others using the boats to their extreme capabilities. Once my friend say that video and my boat in person, he ordered his own.
Here is a list of some of the reasons I went with it:
1-Weight capacity: It's rated for 600lb and that is a modest rating as far as I am concerned. I'm 275lb and I rigged up a second seat and standing platform so I could take my wife out or anyone else for that matter. With both of us and all the gear on it, it sits down pretty low but it is still totally stable when standing. I'd say we were at the capacity (that includes the total weight of the boat and 2nd seat), but it could have handled more IMO. Also, I plan to use it for overnight trips down rivers so I wanted the extra capacity to carry my camping gear.
2-The standing platform: The standing platform and lean bar are unique from other platforms because they both slide out of the way when you don't need them or when you need to use fins to keep yourself in the fishing hole. They are also completely independent of each other. The lean bar doesn't need to go up to slide the platform out, plus you can remove the lean bar all together. The standing platform is removeable too so you don't have to use it if you don't want to.
3-The river rating: Like I said above, I plan to use it for Rivers as well. It's rated for a class 4 so you can take on just about anything that your abilities can handle. I'd definitely get good at manuevering it before taking on any moving water.
4-The rear carge deck/motor mount: The deck has tons of room and also doubles as the motor mount. I couldn't believe it when he said it is rated for a 4hp outboard. The video he gave me even showed a 4hp Honda on the back and that boat was MOVIN!! I will most likely just go with a trolling motor so I don't have to worry about what lakes I can take it on.
5-Mount for a wheel: Just behind the seat there is a piece of metal tubing welded to the frame for sliding a bicycle fork in to wheel the boat around. You can buy them from Northfork Outdoors, but I just grabbed an old fork and tire and used that. It's a must for moving your boat around fully loaded when you can't park close to the lake. I haven't done it yet, but you could also stick one of those beach umbrellas in the hole so you can have some shade on those hot days.
The only CONS (if you can call them that) I have is the size. It's defintely a big boat and I have to break it down everytime I use it because I don't have storage in my apartment for it. If you have a garage, you're good to go. Also, when you are using fins to move around small areas it takes some effort. I pretty much accepted that as the capabilities out-weighed both.
I think what you should consider is what you plan to use the boat for. If you don't need the weight capacity or river rating it might be more boat than you need.
If you go to www.northforkoutdoors.com I think they have some video on their website about it.
If you do order one, there are some options that aren't shown on Cabelas. The frame comes standard in Orange. At no extra charge, I got a blue frame and I think you can get red as well. I have to say though, the quality of the paint job wasn't that great. My friend got the standard Orange and that paint job is better quality. Not sure why though.
I'll be at Almaden Reservoir tomorrow morning. If you are around, stop by and you can have a look. Seeing before buying was my biggest problem when I was shopping around.
If you have any questions you can post here or email me at cochs@sbcglobal.net .

Banana Clip, I saw your boat at the Expo. It's a really nice setup. A friend of mine was with me and is thinking about getting that boat. ---------------------------------- UPDATED fishin pics! Fishin pics are up again http://s90.photobucket.com/albums/k265/reddhedd/fish%20pics/

rockstar, While I think your concerns should have been expressed thru a PM to me(rather than in the middle of a totally different topic), I understand where you're coming from. The sig has been removed. ---------------------------------- UPDATED fishin pics! Fishin pics are up again http://s90.photobucket.com/albums/k265/reddhedd/fish%20pics/

that's one nice looking boat. if you don't mind me asking, how much was it? same as cabelas? also, is the length of the pontoons what makes it hard to move with the fins, or is it that you sit too high?

I paid $999. Same as Cabelas, but he thru in shipping, an anchor, rope, a pump and extended foot rests. At the time I was only able to find that boat for about $1400 and pretty much wrote it off as too expensive, so I jumped on it. After I bought it I, of course, found it for the same price. No regrets whatsoever on the purchase though.
It's not bad when it's calm, but when the wind picks up it can be a real beast to pedal around with the fins. I think it is more size, it doesn't seem like you are sitting that high.
