Well I finally got to take out my kickboat. Loved every minute of it! I bought a Blue Heron 9 back in March (I think). I messed up my shoulder the same day it got delivered so I hadn't been able to use it. I mounted a couple rod racks thanks to the help of you guys and your pics. They worked perfect. I didn't quite get the whole "rowing in a straight line" thing down. Every few strokes I made a hard left! LOL That might be because that's my bad shoulder? The wind was blowing about 20 mph (not unusual around here). But it still wasn't that bad. Just wanted to share my excitement with people who know what I'm talking about. Thanks for all the help in the past.

Glad to read that you finally got out on the water.

Actually, I've only had mine out twice. First time I forgot my fins and had a bear of a time maintaining position.

Still, I love this thing.
