Hey Guys,

It's been a while since I posted here but thought I'd give it a try. I just had all of my swimbait tackle stolen from my garage. I've been on a great bite a LMV and now have not much left tackle wise. Can anyone help out by selling a rod and quality reel at a good price? I normaly throw hudds. Maybe some suggestions for decent priced rods ,reels. I used to have all Calcutta's and Calcutta rods.

Now on to the fishing report. Males have moved shallow and its just weeeks to go before all hell breaks loose. I Caught one fish an 8lb fish bouncing a hud in 20 feet of water with lots of BIG followers swimming it but no bites.

It's getting bad here in Texas, especially in East Texas. I have a buddy that helps produce the College Bass Tournaments for TV broadcast. They held an event at Rayburn a month ago. Around 20 teams could not fish the second day because the meth addicts stripped everything out of their boats while at restaurants and hotels. The college kids were a little naive and didn't think to put everything in their hotel rooms. Hard lesson to learn.

Off topic...I did get my 6 inch weedless Hudd in the mail today. Looks great, but it did smell pretty strong. So it's hanging up off-gassing for a while
