Dang Greg, it looks like you had the touch with Nate's trout last year. Which model(s) did you throw?

Thanks!
Tim

The bait I throw the most would be the Green Back Trout in Fast Sink. The new model has a lexan tail and is just sick!

The other bait I throw is the El Grande (Green Back also). If you get bit on this thing it is usually a toad.

Good luck Tim.

Interesting. For some reason I always thought you were fishing it more as a topwater style bait. Can you fish it on the bottom, or does it get snagged a lot?

What is a Nate's Trout and where can I buy it? I must have this bait, obviously.

When I first came into contact with Nate all he was producing was the Fast Sink's. He now produces them in all fall rates. If you fish the bait on the bottom it will snag. Bait is pretty heavy so you can usually shake it off, I have never lost one to a snag.

You can find the Nate Bait at natesbaits.com or hookeduptackle.com

Greg -

What rod/reel/line setups are you using for the 11-inch Nate's trout?
