#5183, "Huddleson Paint?"

Greetings, Is the paint problem solved on these? I got two (0 & 5) about 3 weeks ago from Tackle Warehouse and on the 0 the paint's coming off all over the head and some also where the tail flexes. Also an eyeball fell off, Does TW replace them for the paint problem? I've just been "fixing" it a with Sharpie, but I'd rather have one where the paint sticks.

By the way, they work great! So far I hooked about a 15lb striper at Pyramid which threw the hook and a 9 lb LMB which I landed, at Castaic.

YOWZA!
Theodore

Ron Cervenka seems to be the defacto spokesperson for Huddleston baits. He explains the problem in detail on westernbass.com

I have heard that Ken guarantees quality and satisfaction and replaces any baits that have those paint probs so you might want to give them an e-mail through their website.

Good Luck. Steve.

Thank you much for your advise. I emailed both Ken at the Huddleston website and Tackle Warehouse. We'll see. In the mean time, I'll just have to get some new ones. :7

I wrote Huddleston and was told by them that you have to send it back to Tackle Warehouse and they will replace it when they get theirs. I thought it was bad customer service and almost wrote them back to tell them so but decided against it. I called Tackle Warehouse and they took care of me. But they dont have any new ones to send back just now. Was told this week that Huddleston told them they should have their orders back to TW then TW will ship out. THanks Tackle Warehouse I felt that it was a bad deal that Huddleston is giving you, but you guys are great!
Cant wait to get mine back.
Dave
