HI GUYS,

LOOKING FOR ANY REVIEWS OR COMMENTS ON THE OKUMA INDURON 400 FOR THROWING SWIMBAITS. IT WILL BE PAIRED WITH A CALSTAR 800L AND I WILL PRIMARILY USE IT FOR CHUCKING THE BIG STUFF, RAGO HARDBAIT, RAGO 3D LIVE TROUT AND THE 12" SLAMMERS.

I KNOW IT IS A FAILY NEW REEL BUT WAS WONDERING IF ANYONE HAS USED IT OR HAS HEARD ANYTHING ON IT.

THANKS.

JUANCHO

They'll be on the market the end of the month. I've been using some prototypes and they work great. Cast well, good drag and inexpensive. $104.99 retail for the 400 size.

I've been looking at the Okuma line of baitcasters as well. Here's a place with good prices. I've bought from them before and had no problems.

Thanks guys for your responses.

They actually already have the Induron on the Cabelas site but it says that it is backordered. It does look nice and for that price, you can't beat it.

Woodsac, i think those are different Induron's because those appear to have only 4 bearing whereas the other induron has 8.

I will be on the lookout for one of these reels.

Thanks again.

Actually I took a look at that link and it says that the size 90 has 4 bb, but the rest, in the main body, have 7+1.

Btw, which would you say is better (overall warranty and other things included) is best: the induron or a catala both in 400 size? Mind you, I paid only 89 for the catala brand new but I am wondering if it is worth paying 20 more to get an induron.
