Snuck in a few hours before heading over to VTA Fred Hall show, I fished north of S.B. harbor for 30 perches, with the top ten going 1.5lbs to 1.94lbs!(only kept the biggest fish and weighed it Harbor tackle)awesome 3 hours of fishing, but the weather was very cold and windy, had some dexterity issues due to the cold other wise I would have caught more! all fish were caught on nose hooked motoroil/redflake Big hammer perch grubs with saltwater formula pro-cure...Larry

Real fish are measured in pounds - not inches!

Hey Larry,
Where you surf fishing West beach area or from a yak? Was the tide coming in or going out? Also how did you rig the grubs? You say nose hooked, I assume you mean simply straight up through the tip of the grub... how did you set up the rig with weights etc...
Thanks for the info.
