I fished in front of the bajamar hotel, between Rosarito & Ensenada yesterday. Using three inch BH (calico hunter), I managed three calico bass, one lingcod (21"), and over a dozen of the biggest Rubberlip perch I've ever seen. they averaged from 3-5 lbs.!! Lots of fun considering I've never caught this type of fish on a swimbait. On the way home I stopped at Popotla & had my lingcod cooked to order!!! All in all it was truly a great day.

Cool report. What's the shore like there? Were you standing on rocks or fishing on a sandy beach with rocks and sand in the surf?

It's all rocky area below a large cliff, sort of like South Laguna. To get there you take the TJ-Ensenada Toll road to the Bajamar hotel/resort exit (It's very well signed all the way there) where you exit towards the resort itself. Once at the entrance you go left on dirt road towards an abandoned guard shack. Continue on this road, which hugs the toll road going south for a few miles and then goes towards shore. You'll need a high clearance vehicle to manage the road. You will arrive at the cliff in about 45 minutes, then just find a way down & enjoy!!
