Hey, thanks for writing me back, I just wanted to say that i am not just talking alot of bull about how good I am at halibut fishing and how I am the Halibut King. I want to post all of my pictures on calfishing, but I am new at posting stuff on the internet. I dont even have a computer. I use the computer at my school. Just to prove that I am the HALIBUT KING, maybe you have seen me on the news for winning stern's wharf Halibut Derby. I won first and third place. I have about four shoe boxes full of keeper halibut pictures, I will try to post them up on to my friends computer.

So are you the "Halibut King" or the "Harbor King" or perhaps both?

Congrats on the derby! What size were the fish that won the derby? Were you using artificials?

Looking forward to seeing some pictures.

Hey leapin bass, This is HALIBUT KING not Harbor king. And the halibut that I caught at the derby were 28.5 inches and the other one was 23.5 inches. The 28.5 weight was 9.14 pounds and the 23.5 was 4.32 pounds it was a pretty good day of fishing. THANKS FOR ASKING AND WRITING BACK.

Sorry I confused you with Harbor King. Nice fish. 4.32 is pretty heavy for a 23.5 incher. Must have been thick. What did you catch them on?

Hey leapin bass I caught them on live smelt, about 4 to 5 inches with a live bait set up. they were both really strong halibut they pulled out about 15 to 30 feet of line, when i set the hook. hey leapin bass I was just wondering how do you post pictures on calfishing. I got a lot of them but i don't know how to post them?

You need to put them up on the web somewhere and then link to them in your message using the URL.

For example:

A page from my website - http://www.leapinbass.com/fish_on/float_tubing_index.htm

The URL of the picture is:

http://www.leapinbass.com/fish_on/images/
float_tube_halibut.jpg

If you type in the URL of your picture (without the carraige return) it will put the picture up like this:

http://www.leapinbass.com/fish_on/images/float_tube_halibut.jpg
