Went on the Apollo out of Fishermans Landing on a two day. Fishing had been scratchy over the weekend. JJ advised we would be trying something new. He took us to a spot where we fished on the anchor for tuna. 22 of us caught 35 Bluefin using 20 pound test for the most part. It was a new experience catching bluefin this way. I had heard about it back in the day. The fishing was good with several going each time the tuna came through. A change in current stopped the bite after a few hours.
We trolled the rest of the afternoon picking up about 50 albacore. Most were small 6-10 pounds with a few ggod ones. We also caught several Dorado.
Day two we caught 325 nice yellowfin all in a ll a great day
