I'm looking for a good 15-25 lb. line recommended, 8 ft. rod for $100 or under. I'll be using it for swimbaits and about 15-20 lb. line. All info would greatly apprciated.

i would highly recomend the calstar 800xl. but the only way to get it for less than 100 is to build it yourself.

Turner's sells one called the California Calico Special. It is a good deal for the price. Every once in a while they go on sale for around $100.

Like calicobass said, Turners has the Californian Calico Special for $120. I would recommend getting a heavy or extra heavy on a shimano cardiff or calcutta.

It's hard to find a good 8' rod for under a hundred. The Calico Special is a good one for just over a hundred. If you can find them, Quantum makes a good 7'6" saltwater rod for about $59. Shimano probably has something 7'6" that would fit your price range too.

I ordered myself the Lamiglas Inshore Classic rod. You can get one for $99 at boatersworld.com

Graftech and All-Star make some pretty good affordable rods in the range you specify. I can vouch for both brands.

You need to go to Boaters World and check out the Lamiglas Inshore Classics. All Graphite, Lifetime Warranty, & Under $100. These rods retail for $180 according to the Lamiglas web site, but Boaters World sells them for a little over half of that. I've owned several Lamiglas rods, and have never been disappointed.

The Allstar or Calico Specials at Turners are also good rods.

Too be perfectly honest with you, any decent flippin' rod is perfect for what you need. It'll just be 7'6" rather than 8'.
