Got blown out at Castaic this morning, so I headed to the stone. It was real fun. You might want to go there as soon as you can. Sight fish have obviously been pestered, but the cruising fish and the fish on the flats are hungry. Water is a little off in color, and did not bother the bite. Every spot with hard bottom or structure gave results. GOOD LUCK, and remember to practice and teach, catch and release. The fish/game is not going to save our fishery. We are.

BURGIE

Right On Burgy! Thanks for the report. I might just have to go check that out one afternoon this week. How was the wind out there today?

Was it windy enough to break the friggin' center console off of your buddy's boat?

Seriuosly, We are going to get a shot at the seabass this year. Boat should go in for a new powerhead this next week. Will need to take it trolling to break the new powerhead in. Thresher anyone?
