This'll be short. My dad and I met Steve and his wife Lisa for some fun hanging out, but really slow fishing. Myself, ,y dad, and Lisa all got the big zero. Steve (in his yak) got a nice 12# cat on a 6" Aaron's Magic, plus two dink bass. I (in my yak) spent most of the day dropshotting. Got a few hen pecks. Tossed a white blade, and a silver Rattle Trap off and on also. These both got a couple bites too, but like the dropshot, just no strong takers. I don't think I swung 10 times all day.

Very few fish on the surface, and I never saw a shad all day. Wierd for that place.

Oh well, that's Sutherland for me. Either they show for me, or get the stripe. It was a fun day though, and I will go back.
