Nice bass Ryan!
Looks pretty healthy. How is the bass population there? Is this a pvt. lake? Not looking for great detail. Simple yes or no. Thanks.Don

Yes it is a private lake the fish population is good but as far as big bass I heard that ther was big ones in ther but no one ever catches them or at least I have not seen anybody else catch one that big , I have been a member for 4 years and thats my biggest that I have caught at that lake, Most of the fisherman at this lake are trout fisherman .

Hell of a fish!
Does anybody know where to get Assalt jigs either through the mail or in the Riverside/San Bernardino area? Would be willing to drive to OC to go to Anglers :( or Bass World West :)

Bass World West does carry the Assault Jigs - You might call to see what kind of supply they have though - last time I was there the stock had dwindled... but it's been more than a few weeks for me.

I love these jigs as well.

Nice Fish!

Nice fish Ryan. Have you tried that 7 inch Pro-Rig Osprey there yet?

I currently have Assalt Jigs
3/8oz in black/red, olive/copper, purple/blue, and black/blue.
1/2oz in black/red, brown/copper, purple/blue, and brown/olive
Just call me to place an order to ship if you can't make it down here.

P.S.- We expanded our hours on Thursday and Friday staying open until 7PM now.

Hey CJ,
Hows it going ? I have tried the 7 inch Osprey at the Palmdale Fin & Feather club but have only had some followers no takers but I did go to Castaic and caught two 3lb bass on it and had a huge one probaly like 14+ follow the Osprey up to my boat.

Ryan,

Glad the Assalt jig got you a good fish. I need to pick my jig rod back up when I get back to the lakes and start pitching and flipping some more.

I was thinking about jig fishing a lot the last few weeks after Jay Yelas won the classic. I mean last year Van Dam won it on jigs and this year Yelas wins it (basically) on jigs. Oh and did you see when David Walker flips that 6 on a jig ... that was a great jig fish. Jigs just catch quality fish, no if's ands or buts!

Ryan nice bass. I was out there yesterday for about 5 hours
and ended the day with 15 bass. I didn't know that Fishco sells
direct from the factory in Palmdale. I'll have to cruise by. I need some more leadheads for my wham fishees.
