Boy...spent the past month and 1/2 fishing San Pablo and fishing this year has been really sorry. I've been fishing the reservoir for the past 5 years now since it's close to home and it WAS awesome. I don't know if the Reservoir is spending less on planting Cats or what but it seems like it's getting sorrier by the year or there's just way too many fisherman/women out there. Does anyone know what's goin on?

I haven't fished for cats specifically, but I've caught two in the last 5 trips. Both were underneath trees and brush and hit on 7" senkos. If you're fishing for cats, I'd recommend trying around the trees in the shade during the day.
