I just thought someone might want to try them out as a cheap alternative to senkos. They are only 3.99 for 20 of the 4 or 5 inch model and 3.99 for 10 of the 7"

Hey Basser.. I've tried imitation senkos (benkos from http://www.bigbagbaits.com/) They looked pretty good.. but didn't quite work the same. They were not as flexible so it didn't have as much of the wiggle that the Senkos do while sinking.. They also sunk a little faster than the Senkos. I got them for a good price however and I would probably whip them out only when the bite is wide open..
So far.. the closest that I've found to Gary Yamamoto's stuff is from a small store in San Diego -- it used to be called Barnicle Bill's -- it is under new ownership. He has his own product line labeled "Fishin Musician." Funny name but pretty good stuff and his prices are good.
I still think that Gary and Derek Yamamoto's products are the best in quality and selection. But I guess it wouldn't hurt to have some cheapies to throw when the fish are hitting anything.
