Hi all. I'm going bass fisshing from shore at leg lake in El monte. Does anybody have any recomendations on any artificials to use at this time af season. plastics, plugs, cranke baits? best times? and has anybody got any comments on this lake?

I haven't fished there in a long time but the people i've talked to who have say it's really tough out there. I would definitely try split shotting or down shotting small 3" to 4" plastics. I haven't heard of anything in particular that has been any good. If you're up for a change in plans, I've been told that Tri-Cities park in Diamond Bar or Mile Square park in Fountain Valley has a lot better population of bass. You may want to consider it.
