Sounds like a blast, I haven't hit Anderson for the big cats in 4 months and was thinking about going once I get over this cold, before your post, now I know I'll have to go. BTW what were you using and how light was the ultralight gear? Are you getting much of this storm and do you think it helped you? Where were you fishing... a cove, flat, point, near wood, weeds, or what? Were you still fishing or drifting? Carolina rigging or flatlining? Just trying to eliminate some dead water if I can and find a starting point for a search here. Oh and please practice c&r on the really big ones (>15#'s IMHO), they may be more than 20 years old and are hard to replace in the gene pool.

We were at lopez lake near Arroyo Grande. we caught the cats on nite crawlers back up a cove in about 15 ft. of water. we haven't been to lopez in a long while. was very pleased with the results. we fished the bottom and pumped the worms up, worked great. Good luck........ BARRY
