I would like to know if anyone fishes the aqueduct in this area for catfish. I have fished the access on 60th and 80th street in Palmdale as well as Littlerock. No fish yet!! Very frustrating....

Try 106th east or 60th west. The bigger cats are out towards the west.
Don't waste your time during the day. Fish for them starting at dusk
or before the sun comes up in the morning. The best thing you could use are bloodworms. Put one blood on with two medium size night crawlers. This makes a nice "Meatball" The stipers like this as well.
Chicken livers or chovies work also. Hope this helps.

I'm assuming that you use treble hooks for the worms, correct? As far as the bloodworms are concerned where can they be found? And at 60th street or any other access do you fish from there or walk down a ways? Thanks...What about rigs? Thanks again..I'm determined to catch fish ...

No I don't use a treble hook. Use a 1/0 live bait hook carolina rigged
with enough weight to stick the bottom. Catfishing is better when the water isn't moving. If your trying for stripers then you need to fish when the water is moving.I like fishing next to the gates that control the water. For the cats fish anywhere from the gates to a few hundred feet down. For the stripers fish right in the white water. Early in the morning try throwing hog raisers if you want stripers.

p.s. You can get the blood worms at B & M tackle in Quartz-
hill or Bob Sands tackle down in Van Nuys.
