What is the best way to rig the bottom hook harness on the castaic swimbait? Thanks in advance.

I used a split ring and attached a Gami. treble hook. With the 6" bait I felt that the hook was in a good position and did not need to be placed any farther back in the bait. Have you had any problums getting the bait to swim? The ones that I have didin't swim unless I retrieved them very fast, and I had to slit the sides to get them to swim at a slower speed.

Lotta ins, lotta outs, lotta what have-yous

Andrew,
We've found that the best way to rig a stinger hook is to tie a #4 Gamakatsu treble to a short section of 65# Power Pro spectra, and then tie the opposite end to the eyelet on the bottom of the bait. That will place your stinger just in front of the anal fin of the bait. Insert one prong of the treble hook into the bait, super glue the knots in the Power Pro and you're ready to go.
