What is your favorite brand of float tube? I've only had two brands; Caddis and Creek Company, and I just bought a new Creek Company( A round boat for $40 brand new), personally though my favorite of the two is Creek Company.

I've got a Stillwater Talon. Most of Stillwater's tubes are made in USA, but this model is assembled overseas so it's cheaper (less money, seems to be excellent quality). I've only seen them at Bass Pro and Wilderness Outfitters. It's higher quality and more feature rich than anything else I've seen in neighborhood of $125.

Sportsmart also sells the Talon . It is a nice tube very large and well made and it's only $99.00 but be careful they also have a imposter that looks just like it ! the shape, size.... and the pic on the box. But once you pull it out the box....biiig difference in qaulity!!

I have owned a Browning, a Caddis, and now own a Creek Company. The Caddis and the creek company have been the most durbible but the Browning was not a bad tube. I have found that all of the major tube companys make a quality product so buy wich ever one fits your individual needs.

Lotta ins, lotta outs, lotta what have-yous

I have a Stillwater Talon and love it. I started by using one of the round tubes, but as my weight is in excess of 225, I didn't feel stable in it. The Talon is rated to hold in excess of 300 pounds so there's room to spare for me. To me, it feels like a big ole lounge chair and I can go hours in it. But don't get me wrong, the size won't hurt you as I've fly fished in it and had no problems. It's very stable, lots of room for "stuff" and the price was right: around $100.
