Friday March 8th, I'm looking to go throw a jig for bass at castaic. How deep do you think the fish will be and where should I hit. I will be from boat on the main lake

I just fished Castaic last Saturday in a ABA tourney and the fish we were catching came out of 40-45 ft of water of ice rapala's. The plastic bit was almost non existant, only a small amount of fish were caught this way. There were a few jig fish caught in the slolom cove area but I don't remember how deep or what colors. Hope this helps and good luck, it is a very slow bite right now.
