I have the 7" model and it dives to about 2 feet. Your right about the action though, one of these days its gonna hook up big. I tie it right to the little snap it came with, is that right or do I take the snap off? Not much luck with it yet but I did get a 6 at margarita 12/31 on the osprey.

You guys do realize that your lure isn't supposed to dive? You should be reeling in just fast enough to get it to swim on top of the water. This is not the most perfect time of year for this presentation that is why the swimbaits are out produceing the hardbaits but weather and a few other factors will keep the a.c. and the slammer productive 12 months a year!
