First time at this lake, heck...first time bass fishing! Fished on Saturday, 3/4 from 9 am 'till noon. Mainly fished with some jigs that Pete at Wilderness Outfitters set me up with, also tried a spinnerbait that the guy at the Marina suggested and some 7" worms. Fished from the White Oak Flats area along the shore about a half mile to a little floatin dock, fished around the trees in the water and along the edge of the weeds. Didn't get a single bite! The water was really murkey and I was wondering if that may have been a problem. Guess I was hoping for some "beginners luck" but I wish that I had seen SOME action at least. I;ll try again soon.
