#192, "Margarita, Feb 19th, 2000"

Mickster and I hit the lake about 2:30 and fished till around 5:30. The water level was up to about 12 feet under capacity which I believe is about 6 feet up from the recent low -- still got a ways, but it's getting there. The water was pretty muddy, about 1 foot visibility. The weather was great, nice cloud cover, a storm on it's way in, seemed like it should have been a fantastic day for fishing, but apparently nobody told the fish. We were skunked, and several other people commented on getting nothing.
We fished brown and red cranks, transparent/hologram soft jerk baits, black/blue jigs, chartruse spinner baits, 7" MS slammers, and a little with the big 9" slammer.
The fish weren't biting, but Mick's new outdrive and trolling motor mounts worked flawlessly :)
