Apparently they are going to drain down Los Vaqueros pretty soon (a-la San Pablo dam) then build up the dam and make the lake bigger so it can hold another 160,000af of water.

I wonder if they will let us launch boats then? Could make the trip from the marina to the dam kind of long in an electric.

How will that impact the fishing? I was there about a week ago and the water level was so low it made shore fishing awful. Way too many weeds and muck, plus the shore was super muddy. I also heard the last trout plant was impacted as the bite was not anywhere near normal.
