The fishing world lost a good friend. Yesterday Pat Marley Passed. Pat was an avid fisherman and was in many TV fishing shows but was better known for his hard work to improve angling in California. Pat was an environmentalist/activist and attorney for the SoCal Bass Council. I new Pat well, roomed with him from Don Pedro to Amistad. During our conversations Pat told me he had a strong passion supporting anglers rights. Among some of his many victories were; persuading the Metropolitan Water District to allowing fishing on Diamond Valley Lake and winning a law suit against the State of California involving environmental benefits for Silverwood Lake.

Pat will be missed!
