yea a pacu that's been on a bluegill diet! Cool catch for sure, not many can say they caught one of them bad boys

Yeah, it was a Pacu. Caught it on my secret Pacu bait.....a big fat table grape. There were two of them but they have probably died by now because of the cold water. It put up a pretty good fight on a spinning rod and 6lb line. My next goal is to catch one of the 4-5 huge koi that patrol the lake. There are at least a couple of big orange ones and a huge black and white one. They haven't wanted what I was offering yet.
