#17602, "stripers"

Hi guys,
What is your favorite baits for stripers?
Gonna fish for them next week.

I have a few baits already just looking for your "can't miss baits"
Or as Rob puts it "money baits"... : )))).

All white 6" Big Hammer on 3/4oz white Hammerhead
LV 500 Chartreuse Shad
8" Triple Trout
Pencil popper

If you're at the Delta and you can't catch them on a rattletrap or a big hammer they probably aren't around :) I haven't been out yet this year for striper on the delta but this weekend we're going to go investigate.

Thanks for your suggestions guys.

I have most of the baits you suggested.
I also have some smirk plugs that I have never used 1 in rainbow 1 in white these are the foorball shaped ones.
I feel I'm ready...lol...are we ever really READY!

I also just went and bought some 8" and 10" trixters and 8" basstrix these are slugs in assorted colors.
Will be fishing dvl, supposedly they got a trout plant yesterday.
I'm a Big Hammer ho too so I will be sure to bring those too.
Also got some 3.25" fin-s shad hopefully these will match the small shad that the lmb are boiling on. Didn't have anything to match when I was there 2 weeks ago.

Thanks

mmm DVL. I am jealous. Fishing at DVL is so fun. I've only been twice. I did catch one striper the first time we went there. It was a 12lber on a 5.5" rainbow trout big hammer. Hopefully you find some of those busting fish and light them up :)
