Does anyone know of a good stand I can buy or make to store my boat outdoors that will keep it drained? I just cracked my 2nd jack wheel in a year and at twenty bucks a wheel this is getting to be ridiculous. Where I live it's pretty windy and it rocks the boat right off the cement blocks I use. I've used boat covers but around here they only last about a season or 2 at $120.00 a pop before fraying and leaking. I have a 16 ft Lund on a single axle trailer. Is it just me or do the jacks never get the trailer high enough to get all the water out of the boat?

I just bought the coolest boat trailer stand ever! Check out Tungbar Boat Drain Stands they make a great solid steel stand that slides on the hitch rail and keeps the trailer totally stable, reminds of a kick-stand. I tried my best to test the stand to see if it fall over or come loose...it's as solid a rock. No cinder blocks, peices of 4 x 4, or replacement wheels needed because the stand is higher than my fully extended 21" trailer jack by 9 inches.

I store my boat 14ft Klamath on my driveway and in the past I had to pull my boat up the sloped driveway, have my wife or buddy chock the tires, then extend the jack wheel all the way and lift it up on a cynder block just to keep the boat drained.
Now I just back up, chock the tires, undo the hitch and slide the TungBar on it. One cool little deal is that you can lock the stand to your chains which in my neighborhood is a good thing or it would be gone.

Best of Luck!
