Hey Guys,
I used to be a regular here about a year ago. Have been outta state for about the last year with my wife battling cancer. Good news is she kicked it's butt. Am just getting settled back home here in Palmdale and was wondering if any of the guys have been hitting the linesides or the kitties. Any report would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance.

Tight lines,

5/29 I C&R'd a 3.8# bass at Quail L. while coming back from Apple Valley, but that's about as close as I've fished to your neck of the woods in a while.

Sorry to hear about your wife's cancer troubles. A BIG, but reserved, CONGRATS on her recovery, as the big C is a m-f 'er and has claimed my mom and one sister....... I pray for her and your family that she may live out a full and happy life. Be Well, fishing lightens the soul, and the sun shining on your face doesn't hurt either! Welcome Back, ALEX

Hey Alex,
Thanks for the words, they all help. Haven't had a chance to wet a line in awhile, and me and my boys are gonna head out this weekend to the duct. Thanks again. Chet

well i fish the duct in hesperia. and the tule perch had their spawning just a month or so ago, meaning theres plenty of forage for the fish.

got a couple nice kitties (channels) to 40lbs and a guy caught a flathead (58lbs) on nightcrawlers (supposedly) and let it go in hesperia lake...

got my first striper about a month ago, was a whopping 6" on livers.

Hey Catfisher,
Thanks for the info. Way to go on the kitties, there are some serious monsters out there. I usually fish the west side, but every now and then I venture to east side of the 15 and have scored a few bruiser kitties out that way.
My 7 year old son had an outfit pulled out of his daydreaming hands last night. I managed to snag the line with a Slammer I was tossing but lost the fish. Have a good one and tight lines to ya.
