With so much of this lake being inaccessible from shore it's practically killing yourself to not be in a tube or kickboat or ANYTHING that floats.
However, if you are stuck on shore you may have a prayer of catching bass with most of the usual techniques that catch bass as long as you can find a new wrinkle that the bass in the accessible areas haven't seen before.
Tight lines,
Wade

PS: Trout plugs/Swimbaits can be effective around the launch area within a week of a plant, but please C&R.

Like Wade said. You really need to get on the water to fish this lake. The fish really bury themselves in the cover and its almost impossible to fish the lake right. Bass N Tubes Float Tube/ Kickboat guys fish this lake at times and I believe they have an event scheduled this year at Pinto. Check out there schedule at www.bass-n-tubes.com
