#15239, "AB 7 Needs Support for Senate Votes"

With AB 7 now headed for the vote in the Senate Natural Resources and Water Committee, we need anglers supporting this bill to contact the members of the committee, especially Senator Sheila Kuehl, the Chair of the committee. Also please contact your own State Senator as it will go to a floor vote after the next two votes.

The easiest way to contact the members of the Senate Natural Resources and Water Committee, is to visit the Friends of California Hatcheries website. We have all the links to the committee members as well as a link to contact your own Senator.

Please help to make history by getting this important bill to the governor's desk. It only takes a few minutes of your time to send a short email to the Senators.

Brad,
Thought I'd better respond and let ya' know that there are a lot of people that are behind you efforts!!! I acquired, "typers-elbow" this evening after all the e-mails I managed to get off for AB 7...
Have a spot that I've TROUTED for years, DF&G used to stock ( still do, but not as frequently and the D _ _ N numbers are so low ) the lake in are area. These trout will move out of the lake into the irrigation canals, which bleed into the small creeks annnnnnd all I can say is, "trout on"!! The rate this state is goin', my grandkids will never see it nor enjoy the good times I did!!! :-( Say ones Hail-Mary's that this will not happen to them. Have a good one! Outta here...
