Well, its been well over 6 months since I've had the boat out - moving from one house to another. I'm going to be emptying the remaining boxes from "storage" (gregors can hold a LOT of STUFF x()

I'll be heading out to DVL next week with a buddy on his boat (his house has been under construction also) and then back to castaic and pyramid in the coming weeks.

Does anyone have any suggestions for DVL? I've never been there (i'll probably only go there a few times a year) and some general info/tips/locations would be helpful. if you prefer, private messaging will keep any info confidential and I'll let you know how we did (good or bad) and what techniques we used.

Look deep, 40-80 feet and throw smaller swimbaits and bounce them on the bottom. Early morning you might be able to get some on big baits running parallel to the banks. I haven't been there for a month or so but the last I heard from a buddy is they were still deep. Carolina rig lizards and drop shot works too. That's all I can give you so good luck
