Well, after some good reported the Striper biting at Lake Pyramid. So we gave it a try since July, my bro-in-law, his friend and I fished from 6.30am until 11.00am for 3 stocker Trout (good size trout) at the Marina/ Launch ramp to get the skunk of our back, the Trout are spreaded out a large area but not much left.
Around 10.00am the wind was howling we moved to the inlet/channel fished for an hour....nothing.
We tried EVERY things for Striper but did not get any nipple. We did saw 3 boiling, once in the middle of the channel( out of casting distance )for about 5 min, the other 2 times they boiled in front of us, but sunk out as fast as they came up, i turn around & grab my rod and casted out but they already gone .
We did not catch any Striper but we have fun. May try again later next month.
