#13947, "Lake Los Carneros - July 30, 2004"

Brian and I borrowed my brother-in-law's canoe and took my three year old son to Los Carneros Lake in Goleta. Brian stuck to flipping an Assalt California Spyder Grub and I fished the weightless Assalt Salt Shaker Worm (Junebug colored). Brian was "Catfish Master" as he continued to slay the little bullhead catfish that seem to have infested the lake recently. My son and I (I set the hook for him) found two decent bass and a couple of bullheads. Not the best trip but he had a blast with those bass. One of them put on a nice show with a good jump at the beginning of the fight.
