I talked to George Cleff yesterday. I guess they finally got some shad into Oso. Hopefully they'll get some meat soon. George had been feeding the fish around the docks most of the winter. He was taking bags of chopped up sardine. He said they would actually eat out of his hand they were so hungry. But, they grew nice and plump with his help.
Saw those Mission Baits at Anglers Marine. Pretty sweet looking, but I wish they had them smaller too.
On the report side, I hit the SJ ponds tonight for 1 1/2 hours tonight. I continued last night slump (see saltwater board). I had one fish miss the Puppy on two seperate casts. That was it for 1hr 15min, then I tried a Walking Worm. Yes, that's how bored and hopeless feeling I was. It did actually get bit though. Same fish that missed the Puppy missed the worm. Hit it and threw it into the air. It was kinda funny actually. That was it for the night. I'll try again soon.
